This morning we left the capital city, Kigali, to travel 239 kilometres through stunning landscapes; watching the undulating terrain change from farmland; to rainforest, to tea plantations. We were lucky enough to spot some monkeys in Nyungwe Forest... housepoint to any boy who can tell us the name of the species!
We arrived to a very warm welcome from the friendly faces of the Rwanda Aid team at Munezero House. Tomorrow we are looking forward to meeting Alex, the Education Officer to finalise plans for next week's mentor training. We are excited to get the course underway!
