Today we had such fun visiting Baho neza mwana which is a village for street children. This was set up by Rwanda Aid 3 years ago and offers rehabilitation for the street children with the aim of reintegration with their families. We played a huge variety of games, ranging from football to grandmother's footsteps to ludo. We were also introduced to some local Rwandan games. Tom was seriously impressed with the good sportsmanship that the boys displayed on the football pitch and the encouragement the older boys gave to the younger boys. One of the highlights was when we were treated to traditional African drumming and even Mr Brawn would have been blown away with their sense of rhythm.
